It’s not just Mustangs, though. Camaros, Vettes, Civics, etc. — they all pop the hoods.

Sadly, there are no Mercury Cougars that are 50 years apart. Heck, there aren’t any 40 years apart.

I’ll tell you, as the guy with the new Mustang...
Because I don’t have the V8 (or V6) I always get more reactions than the new Mustangs with the expected motor, even those V8s with superchargers get less under the hood looks. Particularly old school hot-rod guys are fascinated by the new technology and the modifications. Not that they can tell the difference between stock and non stock, but I always get questions.
